China and Ukraine deepen cooperation in transportation and transportation

Recently, the third meeting of the Traffic Cooperation Subcommittee of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee of Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan) was held in Dalian. Wu Mengyong, the deputy minister of the Ministry of Transport of China, and Ramatov, the chairman of the subcommittee Uzbekistan, led the Chinese delegation to the meeting.

This meeting was held in the context of the joint promotion of the “Silk Road Economic Belt” and the active implementation of the Joint Declaration of the People’s Republic of China and Uzbekistan Republic published in August 2014. The two sides conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on further cooperation between China and Ukraine in international road transport and railways. The two sides decided to draw up and formulate the "Inter-governmental Auto Transport Agreement between China and Ukraine" and to open as soon as possible the transit transportation routes in China and Kazakhstan defined in Annex 1 of the Agreement on Facilitation of International Road Transport between the Governments of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States. The two sides agreed to speed up the implementation of the "China-Gujik Inter-Governmental Motor Transport Agreement." The two sides also exchanged information on the status and reform of railway development and key cooperation projects.

After the meeting, the two sides signed the minutes of the three meetings of the China-Ukraine Communications and Cooperation Sub-Committee.
