The “Twelfth Five-Year” Development Strategy and Development Planning Seminar of the Bearing Industry Held in Beijing

In order to conscientiously implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee of the Party and the Central Economic Work Conference, the National Twelfth Five-Year Development Strategy and Development Plan for the Bearing Industry shall be formulated, and the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” shall be organized to start the industry in the whole year. In the work, China Bearing Industry Association held the Chairman of the China Bearing Industry Association (enlarged) Conference and the National Twelfth Five-Year Development Strategy and Development Planning Seminar of the Bearing Industry on January 14, 2011 in Beijing.

The leaders of the China Bearing Industry Association and the vice chairman unit attended the meeting. The meeting also invited the chief engineer and the chief engineer of some companies, the director of the technical center, the experts of planning and energy conservation and emission reduction, and the experts of Henan University of Science and Technology to attend the meeting. At the meeting, all members of the Axis Secretariat attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Secretary-General Wang Quanqing.

Participants agreed that in 2010 China's bearing industry achieved significant results in response to the international financial crisis. The industry-wide sales revenue is expected to reach 120 billion yuan, which is 30% higher than in 2009, and achieved stable and rapid development of the entire industry. In 2011, the entire industry will face new and greater challenges. The task of transforming the industry's development mode and adjusting the industrial structure will be even more arduous. The entire industry must, under the leadership of the Axis Association, adhere to scientific development and implement the Fifth Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee. The spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference consolidates the results of the crisis response and strives for greater achievements in 2011. Delegates also seriously discussed the consultation draft of the 12th Five-Year Plan for the bearing industry and the “Guidelines for National Energy-saving and Emission-reducing Technologies in the Bearing Industry”, and put forward many amendment opinions and suggestions.

When summing up the meeting, Chairman Liu Enshi requested participants to continue to propose amendments to the National 12th Five-Year Development Plan for the Bearing Industry (Draft for Soliciting Opinions) and the National Technical Guide for Energy-Saving and Emission Reduction in the Bearing Industry (Draft for Soliciting Opinions). To complete the preparation of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan as soon as possible; in order to improve the industry's ability to independently innovate, we must do a good job in the industry's common technology research and development and service platform construction, and we must work closely with the host industry to synchronize the R&D of the bearing with the host company; Organize high-speed EMU bearings, large aircraft bearings, wind power bearings, CNC machine tool bearings, new automotive bearing research and development and industrialization joint research; according to national policies to do a good job to improve industrial concentration and standardize the market order.

The meeting heard a report from Liu Enshi, Chairman of the Axis Association, on the 2010 work summary of the national bearing industry and the 2011 work arrangement. In his report, Chairman Liu reviewed the achievements of the bearing industry in 2010, and proposed the overall thinking and key work arrangements for the work in 2011; the meeting also conveyed the Implementation Plan for the Revitalization of Mechanical Basic Parts and Components and discussed and studied the implementation. Related matters; informed the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the "Strategic Emerging Industries - Development Plan for High-End Manufacturing Equipment", the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "12th Five-Year Development Plan for Basic Components, Key Materials, and Basic Processes" and the China Machine Information Association Development of the "12th Five-Year Development Plan" for the machinery industry; discussion and revision of the "Twelfth Five-Year Development Plan for the Bearing Industry" (Draft for Soliciting Opinions); discussion and revision of the "Guideline for Energy Saving and Emission Reduction in the Bearing Industry of the Whole Country"; "Big plane" bearings, high-speed EMU bearings, wind turbine bearings, high-end CNC machine tools and automotive bearings joint research; discussed with the government authorities put forward 2011 technical progress and technological transformation of investment direction of the relevant recommendations, research and application of various government policies Support issues related to the project and other issues.
