Voith signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with CRRC

Recently, under the joint witness of Li Keqiang, the Chinese Premier, and Merkel, the German Chancellor, who is currently visiting China, Voith signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China’s largest rail transit equipment manufacturer China CRRC Group Co., Ltd. Both parties will be in global gearing. We will expand or strengthen cooperation in the box business, global after-sales service network sharing and smart manufacturing. The agreement marks a new stage in Voith’s long-term cooperation with CRRC. It also marks a new milestone in the continuous deepening of cooperation between China and Germany in the manufacturing sector.

The strategic cooperation agreement between Voith and China CSR is highly consistent with the series of strategic measures implemented by the Chinese and German governments on manufacturing cooperation, and will promote the strategic connection and coordinated development between "Made in China 2025" and Industry 4.0.
