Recently, Sino-French Water Investment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Suez Environment Group, signed a 30-year water supply contract with Wuhan Chemical Industrial Park to exclusively provide a full range of water supply services. This is another major project this year after Sino-French Water Affairs won the Wuhan Chemical Industry Park sewage treatment project last year.
According to the agreement, Wuhan Sino-French will be responsible for the design, construction and management of water treatment plants, water intake works, and distribution network systems with daily processing capacity of 300,000 tons. The project will be carried out in three phases. The first phase of the project will have a design capacity of 100,000 tons/day, an investment of over 240 million yuan, and the construction project will start soon. It is planned to be put into operation in the summer of 2013. In accordance with the national drinking water standards, Wuhan Sino-French will supply raw water to all industrial and commercial customers and residents of the park, and the industrial and domestic sewage generated therefrom will be recycled to the sewage treatment plant through pretreatment, biochemical treatment and advanced treatment. Make the water quality of the factory water reach the national first-class discharge standard.
