A: Belt transport is characterized by the uninterrupted transport of materials along a fixed line.
Advantages of belt transportation: large production capacity, strong climbing ability, good working conditions, low energy consumption, low occupancy, low transportation costs, and easy automatic control.
Disadvantages of belt transportation: a. It is not suitable to transport large hard rock and viscous rock. Generally, it needs to be broken before transporting hard large rock, thus increasing the breakage and cost of stripping waste rock in open pit mine. b. Changing the transportation mode The reliability requirements of its system are higher than other transportation modes. A certain partial failure in production may cause system-wide shutdown.
